THE AUTHORS
Dr William M. Muraah,
a director of KAWI, was born in Meru District, Kenya. He received his
Bachelor of Pharmacy Degree from the University of Nairobi in 1989, and
also has an MBA award in Strategic Management from the same university. He
has worked in the pharmaceutical industry for over ten years, six of those
managing an HIV franchise. He has attended numerous HIV/AIDS conferences
and has been a resource person on the issue at various for a. He lives in
Nairobi with his wife and two children.
Dr Wiliam N. Kiarie,
also a director of KAWI,
was born in Nakuru District, Kenya, and has a Bachelor of Pharmacy Degree
from the University of Nairobi. He also holds an MBA from the United
States International University, Africa. Since 1985, he has worked in
various capacities with an International Pharmaceutical Company. He has a
research interest in the area of the social and economic impact of
HIV/AIDS. He lives in Nairobi with his wife and three children.
